About Jasmine
A self-proclaimed nerd and foodie, Jasmine was born and raised in and around Toronto (Tdot, the 6ix, Turonoh). She often spends her days experimenting with new recipes, binge watching shows, dancing at concerts, setting volleyballs, and occasionally traversing the globe.
Jasmine left home at 17 for Western, where she studied the theory of "work hard, play hard" (and some accounting). After working for the government as a tax auditor, she realized that the credit/debit life was not for her and decided to pursue a career in marketing. She completed her Masters in Business Analytics, with a specialization in Marketing, at the Schulich School of Business at York University. After school, Jasmine spent 2 years at Nielsen, running Marketing Mix Models and determining campaign ROIs. Her current role at Cadillac Fairview as the Marketing Analytics arm of the Marketing Intelligence team allows her to apply her experience to create brand new data analytics capabilities and automated reporting to provide insights that truly impact the business. She is extremely fascinated in what contributes to a successful brand and the motivations of consumers and is excited to see where her career leads her next. She also has an interest in UX design, data visualization, and graphic design that help differentiate her in the data analytics field.
